Configuration

Mission and recovery requirements

Select the mission package as well as the vehicle. Required coverage, data, depth and recovery method determine which configuration needs to be discussed with the manufacturer.

Model-specific system

Pengpai lists platform control, navigation and ancillary systems by model. Rudder, vector and teaching versions are distinct configurations. Basic endurance and chosen depth must be explicitly identified in the quotation.

Mission and deployment choices

  • CTD, camera, sonar, hydrophone and other sensor choices depend on the selected platform.
  • Navigation accuracy, acoustic/satellite communication and battery extensions need configuration confirmation.
  • Vertical thrusters, vector propulsion, launch/recovery systems and docking arrangements are not universal standard features.

No universal 15-kn speed, deep-water rating or extended endurance applies to the whole range. Conflicting or abnormal brochure figures must be clarified for the selected model.

Pengpai lists tasks and sensor options by platform. These are manufacturer descriptions, not supplier project results.

  1. 01

    Portable: PX-150 and PX-160

    PX-150/PX-160 are listed for marine-parameter monitoring, research and teaching.

    Extendable camera, CTD, altimeter and sonar options depend on the rudder/vector/teaching version. Confirm payload space, power and data interfaces.

  2. 02

    Survey: PX-210, PX-260 and PX-324

    PX-210/PX-260 list monitoring and marine geology; PX-324 lists engineering survey and research.

    Camera, CTD, altimeter, sonar and USBL options require package confirmation. Payload references: PX-210 10 kg; PX-260 20 kg; PX-324 30 kg.

  3. 03

    Deep-water and working platforms

    PX-533/PX-900 list deep-sea prospecting and engineering survey; PX-F890 lists structure inspection and offshore wind operations.

    PX-F890 lists camera, sonar and two-arm capability. Confirm depth, tools, interfaces and recovery equipment; catalogue options are not automatically included.
