Rating and load qualifications
- Depth is a configuration choice. 2,000 kg is standard vehicle mass; 250 kg is the separate payload record. Manufacturer metric values are authoritative; conversions are approximate.
- Basic ≥90 h and extended 270 h are at 3 kn. The separate 1,500 km extended range is not guaranteed together with maximum depth, speed and every payload. Low-power emergency communication is not mission endurance.
- Navigation discrepancy: the feature text states better than 0.2%, while the combined-navigation table states 0.3% of range. Both remain unconfirmed pending manufacturer clarification; neither is presented as a guaranteed selection advantage.

| Parameter | Brochure value and definition |
|---|---|
| Dimensions | Ø900 mm × 6000 mm long (approx. Ø35.43 in × 19.69 ft) Configuration notesManufacturer diameter and overall length. Extended-energy, mounting and packed dimensions require confirmation. |
| Standard vehicle weight | 2,000 kg (approx. 4,409 lb) Configuration notesStandard vehicle mass, not payload or packed system weight. The overview also states 1.5–2 tonnes; use the model table's standard mass for reference and confirm final handling weight. |
| Payload | 250 kg (approx. 551 lb) Configuration notesConfirm usable mass, payload-bay dimensions, power, mounting and data interfaces. |
| Working-depth configurations | 3,000 m / 4,500 m / 6,000 m (approx. 9,843 / 14,764 / 19,685 ft) Configuration notesSeparate selectable depth configurations, not a continuous range. The title's 6,000 m is the highest option, not every version's default. |
| Velocity range | 1–6 kn (approx. 0.51–3.09 m/s) Configuration notesManufacturer speed range, not rated current resistance. Endurance is not specified at maximum speed. |
| Propulsion and control | Tail propeller with cross/X-rudder; vertical auxiliary propeller optional Configuration notesVertical diving/ascent and dynamic positioning depend on the selected auxiliary propulsion, sensors and controls. Do not assume that option is included. |
| Basic endurance at 3 kn | At least 90 h at 3 kn (approx. 1.54 m/s) Configuration notesBasic configuration. Battery, payload, depth, temperature and complete test conditions must be confirmed. |
| Extended endurance at 3 kn | 270 h at 3 kn (approx. 1.54 m/s) Configuration notesExtended energy configuration, not basic endurance. Confirm dimensions, mass and task conditions. |
| Extended range | 1,500 km (approx. 810 nmi) Configuration notesSeparate extended-range record, not a simultaneous promise with maximum speed, depth, payload and endurance. |
| Navigation — conflicting source records | INS + DVL + GNSS + USBL; table: 0.3% of range; feature text: better than 0.2% Configuration notesThe source figures conflict and require manufacturer clarification. No single accuracy guarantee is established; do not infer fixed centimetre accuracy or improved precision from SLAM. |
| Communications | UHF, Wi-Fi, 4G, satellite and underwater acoustic communication listed Configuration notesConfirm hardware, subscriptions, surface/underwater link conditions and range. This is not arbitrary-depth live wireless video or unlimited coverage. |
| Control software | Manufacturer visual control interface; secondary development, post-mission analysis, SLAM and data-driven capabilities described Configuration notesCustomized collaborative networking, software version, licenses, outputs and maintenance scope require agreement. These are not supplier-owned development or support-time claims. |
| Ground control and launch/recovery | Integrated ground control station and dedicated LARS described Configuration notesActual delivery items, deck space, lifting, vessel interfaces and power must be agreed. Generic LARS catalogue ratings do not prove model-specific compatibility or standard inclusion. |
Task and integration scope
Applications and configuration

Manufacturer handling-system context, not a matched PX-900 photograph, supplier project, crew or standard shipment. For the 2,000 kg standard vehicle, agree lifting/recovery, deck space, power and vessel interfaces. The pictured system and generic LARS brochure ratings do not establish PX-900 compatibility or inclusion.
Application scope
Seabed topographic mapping
The manufacturer lists seabed mapping. Define depth, sonar payload, route, navigation and output requirements before selecting a configuration; no map accuracy or included survey instrument suite is guaranteed.
Marine-engineering survey
Marine-engineering and physical marine-operation surveys are listed. Confirm the measurements, mission duration, data formats and launch/recovery arrangements; Aqua Robot Supply supplies equipment, not survey services.
Deep-sea exploration
Deep-sea prospecting is a manufacturer-listed use. Agree the depth option, detection payload, energy budget and recovery plan; this is not a supplier project record or proof of exploration results.
Selection limits
Consider PX-900 for larger deep-sea survey payloads and long-duration configurations, subject to source-rating confirmation. The 2,000 kg standard vehicle needs a planned deck and launch/recovery system; it is not a portable hand-launch platform. For lighter deep-sea equipment compare PX-533; for tethered live inspection review ROVs.
Documented vehicle equipment
Large modular vehicle
900 mm-diameter, 6 m wet-cabin-frame platform with 250 kg source payload. Final depth, energy, mass and payload arrangement require confirmation.
Propulsion and mission control
The table describes tail propulsion, cross/X-rudder and a manufacturer visual software interface. Navigation accuracy has conflicting source records and is not resolved by the render.
Ground control and dedicated LARS
Ground station and dedicated launch/recovery are described. Confirm inclusion, deck footprint, lifting method, power and vessel connections in a written delivery list.
Optional equipment and integration
Depth and extended-energy configurations
Choose 3,000, 4,500 or 6,000 m depth. Extended 270 h at 3 kn or 1,500 km records must be tied to an agreed energy system, mass, dimensions and mission conditions.
Vertical auxiliary propulsion
Optional auxiliary propulsion supports vertical diving/ascent and dynamic positioning when configured. Confirm actual arrangement, sensors and control limits.
Detection payloads
The modular payload bay supports project-specific detection equipment. Provide exact instrument type, dimensions, mass, electrical and data requirements; no fixed all-inclusive sensor suite or universal third-party integration is confirmed.
Communication and software scope
Specify surface, satellite and acoustic devices, services and link behavior. Networking/data-driven customization is manufacturer scope to agree, not an automatically delivered multi-vehicle system.
Interfaces to confirm
Provide payload model, dimensions, mass, voltage/power, connectors, protocols and output requirements. No model-specific third-party integration test or validated LARS/vessel interface has been supplied. Agree navigation acceptance conditions, handling mass, deck space, lifting, recovery and power separately.
A brochure equipment reference is not a final delivery list. Specify each instrument, controller and accessory in the quotation.
