Pengpai Ocean / PX-210
PX-210 Survey AUV
Review Pengpai Ocean's PX-210 for underwater survey, monitoring and sensor-test missions. Aqua Robot Supply coordinates equipment selection and project quotations. Its 10 kg payload, 200 m depth rating and 10 h endurance at 3 kn are separate manufacturer records; the higher-speed version is custom.

Rating and load qualifications
- 70 kg standard vehicle weight and 10 kg payload are different quantities. Manufacturer metric figures are authoritative; imperial conversions are approximate.
- Standard speed is 1–5 kn; 1–15 kn is custom. The 10 h endurance record is at 3 kn only. Series-level battery-extension claims do not establish a PX-210 endurance option.
- Navigation accuracy is configuration-dependent and expressed as a percentage of range. No complete navigation, endurance or current-resistance test record has been supplied.

| Parameter | Brochure value and definition |
|---|---|
| Dimensions | Ø210 mm × 2100 mm long (approx. Ø8.27 in × 6.89 ft) Configuration notesManufacturer diameter and overall length, not an installation or packed envelope. |
| Standard vehicle weight | 70 kg (approx. 154.3 lb) Configuration notesVehicle weight is separate from the 10 kg payload. Battery basis and packed weight need confirmation. |
| Payload | 10 kg (approx. 22.0 lb) Configuration notesConfirm usable mass, instrument dimensions, mounting, power and data interfaces for the selected mission. |
| Working depth | 0–200 m (approx. 0–656 ft) Configuration notesManufacturer table rating; mission conditions and final configuration require confirmation. |
| Standard velocity range | 1–5 kn (approx. 0.51–2.57 m/s) Configuration notesThe standard configuration does not have a 15 kn maximum. Speed is not current resistance. |
| Custom velocity range | 1–15 kn (approx. 0.51–7.72 m/s) · custom configuration Configuration notesManufacturer custom option; not standard equipment. Its battery, payload, control and test conditions need a separate quotation. |
| Propulsion and control | Propeller propulsion with cross/X-rudder control Configuration notesExact propulsion hardware and control envelope to be agreed; auxiliary thruster arrangements described for the wider series are not a confirmed PX-210 standard bill. |
| Endurance at 3 kn | 10 h at 3 kn (approx. 1.54 m/s) Configuration notesDo not combine this endurance with the custom 15 kn speed. Battery, payload, temperature and full test conditions are not supplied. |
| Navigation and accuracy | INS + DVL + GNSS + USBL; better than 0.3% / 0.5% / 1% of range, depending on custom configuration Configuration notesSelect one navigation package and agree its operating conditions; these are not three simultaneous guarantees or a fixed centimetre-level accuracy. Depth-sensor accuracy is a different measure. |
| Communications | UHF, Wi-Fi and 4G; Iridium satellite and underwater acoustic communications optional Configuration notesSurface radio/cellular links do not guarantee underwater wireless transmission or unlimited range. Coverage, services and acoustic equipment require confirmation. |
| Control software | Manufacturer visual control interface; secondary development and post-mission data processing/analysis described Configuration notesCollaborative networking and data-driven functions are customizable. Agree software versions, licenses, outputs and maintenance scope; no supplier software-development or support-time promise. |
| Movement modes | Track following, autonomous navigation, depth/altitude navigation and obstacle avoidance; surface and beyond-line-of-sight control described Configuration notesManufacturer function descriptions, not unconditional obstacle-avoidance or remote-control guarantees. Required sensors, links and task constraints must be specified. |
| Ancillary equipment | Integrated ground control station or rugged laptop, plus portable communication box Configuration notesManufacturer equipment record; agree the selected control arrangement, supplied devices, batteries and handling equipment in the quotation. |
| Expandable sensor scope | Underwater CCD, CTD, altimeter, obstacle-avoidance sonar, side-scan sonar, multibeam sonar and USBL Configuration notesMission-integration options, not all supplied as standard or proven compatible with any third-party instrument. |
Task and integration scope
Applications and configuration

A separate manufacturer-series scene, not a PX-210 delivery kit or supplier deployment. Confirm lifting, transport and recovery arrangements for the quoted 70 kg platform; equipment in this scene does not establish standard inclusions.
Application scope
Underwater survey
The manufacturer lists marine geology and geomorphology exploration for the small-AUV range. Define side-scan or multibeam equipment, track plan, altitude and navigation needs before confirming a PX-210 configuration.
Environmental and aquaculture monitoring
Marine-parameter monitoring and fish-farming uses are described for the range. Specify the measurements, sensor package, depth and cage obstructions; this is not a net-cleaning vehicle.
Research and sensor testing
The range is described as a test platform for scientific research and cooperative observation. Payload fit, software outputs and networking require project-specific confirmation, not an assumed delivered multi-vehicle system.
Selection limits
Confirm depth, current, obstacles, recovery access, usable payload and navigation before selecting PX-210. Its standard 200 m depth and 3 kn endurance records do not prove operation at every site. For deeper missions compare PX-260; for tethered live inspection or manipulation compare the ROV family.
Documented vehicle equipment
Vehicle and propulsion
The model table lists a 210 mm-diameter, 2.1 m platform with propeller propulsion and cross/X-rudder control. Standard speed is 1–5 kn.
Navigation and mission control
Combined INS/DVL/GNSS/USBL navigation and visual control software are documented. Actual instruments, one accuracy configuration and enabled mission functions must be specified.
Surface control arrangement
The table describes an integrated ground station or rugged laptop plus a portable communication box. Agree the selected arrangement and final equipment list in writing.
Optional equipment and integration
Custom higher-speed version
1–15 kn is a manufacturer custom configuration. Confirm propulsion, energy system, payload limits and tested endurance rather than combining it with standard ratings.
Mission instruments
Camera, CTD, altitude sensing, obstacle-avoidance, side-scan and multibeam sonar and USBL are expandable scope. Confirm model, mounting, mass, power, protocol and processing software.
Satellite and acoustic links
Iridium and underwater acoustic communications are optional. Specify hardware, coverage, subscriptions and required link behavior.
Software and cooperative functions
Secondary development, collaborative networking and data-driven functions are manufacturer customization scope. Exact versions, licenses and acceptance criteria require agreement; they are not Aqua Robot Supply's own engineering-service promise.
Interfaces to confirm
Provide the instrument model, dimensions, mass, voltage/power, connectors, data protocol and required software outputs. No model-specific third-party integration drawing or compatibility test has been supplied. Agree navigation equipment, calibration and accuracy conditions separately; the series depth-sensor figure of 0.01% FS is not vessel-navigation accuracy.
A brochure equipment reference is not a final delivery list. Specify each instrument, controller and accessory in the quotation.
Procurement record
