Bathymetric Survey Equipment for Hydrographic Projects

Aqua Robot Supply helps international survey buyers compare surface platforms and define a project-specific instrument configuration. Start with the bathymetric data, operating environment and deployment requirements before selecting a USV.

Project definition / 01

Survey payload and data

Start with the required survey output, then identify the instrument and its platform requirements. A USV hull alone does not establish bathymetric data quality.

The brochure specifies a 250 mm moon pool. This render does not establish installed sonar, interface compatibility or measurement accuracy.

  1. 01

    Survey output

Describe the required bathymetric coverage, data format, positioning and acceptance criteria. HUNTER lists single-beam, multibeam and side-scan sonar as options; these are different instrument configurations.

  2. 02

    Instrument package

Provide the proposed instrument models, dimensions, mass, power and data interfaces. KOI TURBO describes a moon pool and custom mounts; confirm the exact bracket and sensor arrangement.

  3. 03

    Water environment

Share survey area, water depths, current, waves, vegetation and obstacles. Platform draft and brochure ratings do not by themselves confirm suitability for the site.

  4. 04

    Deployment plan

Describe shore or vessel access, available lifting equipment, transport limits and expected mission duration. Confirm the configured vehicle and payload before planning launch and recovery.

Positioning hardware, sonar, mounting, software and the final data workflow require project-specific confirmation. Manufacturer interface descriptions are not independent compatibility tests.

Documented options / 02

Surface-platform starting points

These Aqua Helpers models document survey-related mounting or instrument options. They are starting points for configuration review, not a validated ranking or a guarantee of survey suitability.

  1. 01

    KOI TURBO

    Aqua Helpers

    250 mm moon pool

Single-beam and dual RTK configuration described, with a 250 mm moon pool and interchangeable hatches.

    Configuration notes

The brochure lists 20 kg equipment-only payload, separately from battery-plus-equipment load. Confirm the actual sonar, positioning hardware, hatch, mounts and data outputs. Do not assume every illustrated instrument is included.

  2. 02

    HUNTER

    Aqua Helpers

    1.6 m hull length

Optional single-beam, multibeam and side-scan sonar, with RTK and controller choices for configuration review.

    Configuration notes

Select the payload and control configuration for the survey task. The source's 50–60 kg load definition is unresolved. Review the separate endurance records rather than assuming one duration at every speed.

  3. 03

    HUNTER-X

    Aqua Helpers

    20 kg equipment payload

A 1.62 m catamaran with tool-free adjustable mounting and a large instrument compartment for survey configurations.

    Configuration notes

20 kg is equipment-only payload; 35 kg battery-plus-equipment load is a different figure. Confirm the survey instruments, mounting and interfaces; the source does not establish a universal sensor package.

Deployment and quotation scope

Aqua Robot Supply coordinates platform and configuration selection with manufacturing partners. Include the mission equipment and deployment arrangements in the quotation request, not only the hull.

  1. 01

    Launch and recovery

Confirm vehicle and payload mass, transport, lifting points, shore or vessel access, batteries and charging.

  2. 02

    Control and positioning

Confirm the control station, link hardware, site coverage, positioning equipment and any required subscriptions.

  3. 03

    Instruments and deliverables

Confirm sonar, mounts, interfaces, software, data formats and documentation. Request applicable certificates and test conditions.

Final equipment, instrument compatibility, delivery terms, warranty and support must be confirmed in the project quotation. We supply equipment; this page does not offer a survey service or guarantee a completed survey's accuracy.
