ROVs for Underwater Inspection

Aqua Robot Supply helps international inspection buyers compare ROV platforms and define camera, tool and deployment requirements. We coordinate equipment selection and quotations with manufacturing partners; we do not provide inspection services.

Project definition / 01

Inspection requirements

Define the structure, observation output and working task before selecting the ROV. A catalogue depth rating does not establish visibility, tool suitability or current resistance.

Deployment-equipment reference only. Exact model matching and included winch are unconfirmed; this is not the supplier's facility or an inspection project.

  1. 01

    Structure and output

Describe the asset, access restrictions and required video, images or measurements. Identify whether the task is observation, sampling or tool work.

  2. 02

    Depth and water conditions

Share depth, current, visibility, obstacles and entanglement risks. The PX-050ROV and PX-100ROV list 0–300 m depth; their 0–3 kn speed is not an anti-current rating.

  3. 03

    Cameras and working tools

List camera, lighting, sonar and manipulator requirements. Pengpai describes configuration options; actual tools, mounts, power and data interfaces need confirmation.

  4. 04

    Access and cable route

Specify shore or vessel access, power, lifting arrangements and the intended cable path. Tether length is not a guaranteed horizontal working radius.

These records prepare an equipment quotation, not an inspection procedure. Confirm the camera and tool package, operating limits and applicable approvals for the intended task.

Documented options / 02

Documented inspection platforms

These Pengpai Ocean platforms provide different cable, power and tool configurations. Review the named model's documentation; the figures below are not a validated suitability ranking.

  1. 01

    PX-050ROV

    Pengpai Ocean

    0–300 m depth · 15 kg payload

Cable-powered platform with camera, lighting and optional sonar or manipulator configurations.

    Configuration notes

50 kg is vehicle weight, separate from the 15 kg payload. The brochure lists a 300 m umbilical and deck equipment; confirm supply power, cable handling, tools and site conditions. Cable power does not guarantee unlimited endurance.

  2. 02

    PX-100ROV

    Pengpai Ocean

    0–300 m depth · 30 kg payload

Larger cable-powered platform with a 150 kg vehicle weight and configurable observation or working equipment.

    Configuration notes

30 kg is payload, not vehicle weight. Confirm lifting capacity, deck space, ship or shore power, the 300 m umbilical and working-tool scope. Its speed range does not quantify current resistance.

  3. 03

    PX-180ARV

    Pengpai Ocean

    0–200 m depth · AUV/ROV modes

Hybrid platform with camera and lighting, tethered observation and separate autonomous-mode configurations.

    Configuration notes

Review ROV mode for live observation. Optional control cables up to 200 m or 1,000 m do not increase the 200 m depth rating. Sonar, manipulators and control equipment require configuration confirmation; 30 kg is vehicle weight.

Manufacturer brochure reference

Manufacturer depth and payload records identify the models, not proven inspection outcomes. Camera, tool compatibility and operation in the stated current or visibility remain to confirm.

Observation and control scope

Specify the required live view, recording, sonar data and task controls. Confirm the camera, lighting, navigation equipment, software and export formats together; the illustrated workstation does not establish a universal interface or included instrument package.

Manufacturer equipment setting, not supplier premises or a confirmed package for the selected ROV. Displayed software and instruments are examples, not compatibility or measurement proof.

Access and deployment

Aqua Robot Supply coordinates equipment selection and quotations with the manufacturer. Include the vehicle, working equipment and surface-side facilities in the requested supply scope.

  1. 01

    Power and cable

Confirm ship or shore power, umbilical type, cable route, winch and deck controls. Review current and obstacles independently of the depth rating.

  2. 02

    Handling and recovery

Confirm configured mass, lifting arrangements, access and recovery equipment. Identify what is included in the quotation and what the site must provide.

  3. 03

    Tools and documentation

Confirm cameras, sonar, manipulators, interfaces and recording scope. Request operating conditions, applicable certificates and final equipment lists.

Inspection suitability, tool compatibility, certificates, delivery terms, warranty and support must be confirmed for the project. No inspection result or site performance is guaranteed here.
